Lost Creek Ranch is a privately owned Wyoming guest ranch nestled between Grand Teton National Park and the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Lost Creek Ranch was originally homesteaded in the late 1800s. In 1929, as the Rockefeller Family was acquiring thousands of acres in Jackson Hole to convert into the Grand Teton National Park, the ranch’s owner, Albert Schwabacher, retained private ownership. The Halpin Family purchased the ranch in 1968 in order to continue Albert’s legacy of involving new people in the region’s traditional activities. Three generations of Halpins’ remain actively involved in its daily operations.

The ranch combines outdoor adventures for the entire family and the comforts of a world-class resort in the region’s most spectacular location. Lost Creek Ranch and the Halpin Family, under the management of Jack and Julie Frappart, are proud to celebrate 41+ years of service. We invite you to join us for a very special 2016 Season.

The most important and noticeable feature of our Wyoming dude ranch lies not in its structures but in its people. The ranch is dedicated to personal service. Our ranch crew consists of educated, experienced, trained professionals. Being very good at what they do and continually attentive to your needs, our staff members are friendly and approachable.

With a herd of over 100 horses you can rest assure we will have a horse to match your ability level. Though our wranglers may come from various walks of life one thing is shared by all of them. They each have a passion for horses, for people and for our way of life. They are experienced horse people who are willing and able to assist in helping make your visit to Lost Creek Ranch a most memorable one. There’s something pretty special about seeing this part of the country from horseback. When you get to the top of one of the many peaks or mountains around the ranch and are able to peer through the trees or enter an open space where you can see the valley, it will literally take your breath away

The ranch is a special place for children – a place of dreams and stories. We have an extensive kids program, from Kids-only horse rides, lead arounds and instruction to kid-only outings. The kids program allows children to play outside with their peers in a safe environment, including our Jr. Wrangling training, arena games, hay rides, lawn games, arts and crafts, and they even have their own cookout to enjoy hotdogs and s’mores over a camp fire, leaving their parents behind to sit and enjoy the views from our spacious deck.

Our capable chefs are able to cater for special functions such as weddings, receptions, and large functions that are held here at Lost Creek Ranch. Our fine dining is served with a view of the Tetons and is an excellent escape from the rest of the world; we also have a nice selection of wines, beer, and liquor available in our bar and during dinner. Our chefs and servers take a lot of pride in their work and see to it that each guest’s needs are met.
