The Best rated family friendly dude ranches and guest ranches are going to do one thing very well. They will keep your family and kids constantly engaged in a variety of exciting activities. To quote the kids: “boring is the worst!” Secondly, if the food is poor quality or insufficient, your family vacation will be “Worse than worst!”
To this end, we at Marble Mountain Ranch go to great lengths to provide a non-stop itinerary of exciting and changing activities that are based on traditional Western frontier experiences. We follow-up the activity schedules with world-class cuisine served with an original and wholesome flare. The daily adventures shared by your family will be cemented in shared stories recanted during each day’s culinary excursions. The adventures may be what first bring you to us, “but the food will bring you back!”
Our underlying philosophy at Marble Mountain Ranch is to keep families together as much as possible to enable generational bonding through our shared activities. Your family will raft together, trail ride together, dine together, fish together, and more. How do you connect and bond without sharing time in common adventures?
Since safety is our prime directive, we also have a “buckaroo program” for smaller children that might not always be able to join the more mature family members. Your 3-4 year olds can safely enjoy the outdoors under the diligent care of our staff. They can enjoy nature walks, ranch based arts and crafts, feeding small animals, harvesting chicken eggs that are still warm, and then rejoin you at meal times and evening events.
Each morning of your families dude ranch vacation with us is packed with instructional arena riding games, riding lessons, scenic trail ride adventures, and an evolving daily exposure to Western shooting sports and archery at our range. Our afternoons are filled with daily rafting, kayaking, and fishing. Evenings offer campfires, lariat challenges, fish-outs, and Western frontier games. When asked which activity was the “favorite”, many of the departing ranch families struggle, because they enjoyed “it all.”
We hope you can join our Marble Mountain Ranch family for a vacation that will certainly become one of your family’s cherished memories.
