Thanks to a $2 million donation from artist Julie Mehretu, the Whitney Museum of American Art plans to offer free admission to anyone 25 years old and under, making the experience that much more accessible and affordable for families and young adults. Now, the whole family can visit, with only parents purchasing tickets. Visitors can enjoy free access to exhibitions, special programming, views of the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and more from the Museum’s iconic terraces.
