Caius and Mia Bender are some of the most well-travelled young children in the world. At five and six years old, the siblings have visited 64 countries in the past three years. That is a lot of passport stamps.
“My husband worked 60 hours a week and barely saw the kids,” says Erin Bender when recalling the couple’s former life in Perth, Australia.
They were spending $12,000 per month and felt that it wasn’t fulfilling.
Her husband Josh Bender was a web developer and it was his “crazy idea” to take business on the road for six months in May 2012.
Flash forward to three and a half years later and the Benders are still happily traveling with their children in tow.
And the best part? They are actually saving money by seeing the world.
