“FTA Honors” Dinner Set for Mt. Rushmore

Written by

Mt. Rushmore at night with be the venue for the 2019 FTA Summit Honors Award Dinner & Reception.

For those attending the 5th Annual FTA Summit in South Dakota in October, they’ll be treated to a special reception/dinner at the iconic Mt. Rushmore to once again honor those persons who are advancing the FTA’s mission in unique and innovative ways.  And to continue in our annual tradition, we’ll also be awarding the 2019 FTA Person-of-the-Year in recognition of the individual who truly embodies the mission and spirit of the Family Travel Association and whose work has raised the profile of our industry.

To help us in the selection process, we’re asking you, our members, to nominate anyone who we should consider honoring. Please know that this is not an awards ceremony proclaiming who is “the best” or “most popular”. Instead, it’s an acknowledgement of those in our industry who go beyond the ordinary and putting a spotlight on their unique stories.

FTA Honors rewards those who advance our mission in unique and innovative ways.

So please e-mail your suggestions  to Richard D’Ambrosio, at richard@familytravel.org, by Friday, August 31. We expect some great stories about the types of things people are doing that inspired you to join the FTA in the first place, and the experiences we want to see more families invest in.

The evening’s festivities will once again be generously sponsored by MSC Cruises.
