With just over two weeks to go until the curtain lifts on its first-ever virtual Spotlight event happening on Monday, November 30, 2020, the FTA has announced its lineup of speakers and official agenda on its website, FamilyTravel.org.
Open to everyone who believes in the FTA’s mission – to inspire and empower families to travel and help them discover what’s possible – the FTA is bringing together the industry’s leading authorities on family travel and shining a spotlight on the people, places and events shaping Family Travel for 2021. it promises to be a super-charged three hours packed with plenty of invaluable information, best practices, key insights, research, and of course, inspiration.
An impressive lineup of Keynote speakers will include Adam Stewart, Deputy Chairman of Sandals Resorts International; Peter Greenberg, Travel Editor for CBS News; Heather Greenwood-Davis, Contributing Editor, National Geographic; and Dr. Jen Hartstein, PsyD, Owner of Hartstein Psychological Services.
Other industry luminaries scheduled to speak include Debbie-Ann White, SVP, Beaches Resorts; Ben Perlo, Managing Director, G Adventures; Dan Austin, Founder, Austin Adventures; Wanda Goodman, Deputy Director, South Dakota Dept. of Tourism; Ron Gulaskey, AVP, National Account Sales, Celebrity Cruises; Laura Davidson, President, LDPR Greg Stranz, Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase; and many more.
In the spirit of its wildly popular annual Summit, the event will conclude with the announcement of its 2020 FTA Honors to recognize those persons and organizations who are advancing the FTA’s mission in unique and innovative ways. And to continue the annual tradition, the FTA will also be awarding the 2020 FTA Person of the Year in recognition of the individual who truly embodies the mission and spirit of the Family Travel Association and whose work has raised the profile of our industry.
