Dave Parfitt is a married father of two living in Rochester, New York. In 2012, he launched AdventuresbyDaddy.com to chronicle his family adventures as well as offer family travel advice and escapist fun from a dad’s perspective. He is also a frequent contributor to the travel sections of FoxNews.com and the Huffington Post.

An avid runner with a PhD in neuroscience, Dave works at a bucolic Western New York college.

Throughout his academic training and career, he’s lived in numerous Northeastern and Midwestern US cities before settling in the Finger Lakes Region of Western New York.
