Robin Hutson

Robin Hutson launched Luxe Recess in 2014 to channel her passion for the luxury hospitality industry. With her career as a publisher, Robin wants Luxe Recess to recreate a digital version of a glossy travel magazine experience for busy parents fond of luxury travel, art, culture, real food, and wellness.

Robin has worked with nearly every luxury hospitality brand in the goal of creating a comprehensive resource for parents to choose accommodations for family vacations and verify the family friendliness of places parents enjoyed in their days before children. Luxe Recess has contributors from Hong Kong to London providing photo-rich features of properties and first-hand reporting on a property’s family experience.

She’s been publisher of titles that have won numerous awards including the National Magazine Award and Utne Indpendent Press Awards and is a graduate of both the Radcliffe and Stanford Publishing Courses. She is a past instructor of the Columbia Publishing Course. She lives in Boston with her family and presently consults in editorial strategy and business development for an inbound marketing agency.
