Mike and Carly Walton have a passion for documenting world travel through photo and video. Before ever meeting one another they visited a combined 35 countries and were thrilled with each others passion for travel and adventure! They now travel full-time with their one year old baby Whitney and most recently lived in Australia and New Zealand.

Mike has a background in marketing, advertising, and photography. He loves trail running, climbing, and canyoneering and is often found doing all of these with a camera in hand! He is amazing at capturing real authentic moments and does this fantastically in the outdoor space. He recently worked with Canyoneering New Zealand and Shot Over Canyon Swing New Zealand, showcasing beautiful outdoor adventure activities. He has produced product photography for outdoor apparel companies including Westcomb and Tom Bihn. In addition to working with outdoor companies he also loves humanitarian work and recently documented a goat distribution project in Jordan with Lifting Hands International.

Carly got her travel bug when she volunteered to teach English in China when she was only 18. After being there for 6 months she fell in love with the Chinese culture and returned a year later as a head teacher for another 5 months. Her love for humanitarian work grew when she served in leprosy colonies in India with Rising Star Outreach, and worked with youth to build homes in Tonga, and Belize. Carly has travelled to many countries including Egypt, Ecuador, Mongolia, and Cambodia doing videography for the children’s education series and app E3 Imagine.

Through The Walton Adventure, Mike and Carly hope to inspire families everywhere to travel with young children. They want others to see that you don’t have to stop traveling when you start having kids! They write about their unique experiences on their blog, share photos and video on instagram, and post fun videos on YouTube. They love working with travel companies, hotels, and outdoor brands who share their same philosophies. They also hope to connect with other travelers who are out exploring the world!
