Monet Hambrick started The Traveling Child in 2016 while on maternity leave with her 2nd child. Too often Monet and her husband heard their traveling days would be over while pregnant with their first child. As they continued to travel with both of their children Monet wanted a way to show other parents their travel life doesn’t have to end with the birth of their kids. Monet started The Traveling Child to inspire parents to travel the world with their children while providing tips to make it easier and affordable.

Monet lives in South Florida with her husband and two children. She has partnered with travel brands including Spirit Airlines, Eurail, Ft. Myers and Sanibel Island, and Booking.com.
