Rodrigo Sanchez

Rodrigo Sanchez and his wife Jessica, 5-year-old son Santiago, and 2-year-old daughter Nora are selling everything they own to travel the world full-time. Their mission is to inspire families to experience the joys of travel, and they plan to do so by sharing stories through their blog, The Jetsetting Family.

Rod’s path to becoming a family travel journalist is unconventional, to say the least! He graduated from MIT with an Aerospace Engineering degree, commissioned as an Officer in the United States Air Force, and worked for 10 years as a satellite and rocket engineer. Upon realizing that he really wasn’t meant to pursue a traditional career path, he and his wife made the decision to sell everything and travel the world as a family.

They aspire to prove that full-time family travel is affordable, achievable, and fun! Their adventure will start in Southeast Asia in June 2018, where they are planning on visiting 10 countries within 6 months. They will be chronicling their journey through their blog, Instagram and Facebook pages, and YouTube channel!
