Stephanie Sheaffer is a writer, entrepreneur, and social media influencer.

In 2006, Stephanie created Metropolitan Mama (“See the World, One City at a Time”) – a lifestyle and travel blog for moms and moms-to-be. The site quickly drew a loyal readership and has been named among the 50 Best Blogs by Women.

She is also the co-founder of TucsonTopia (“Find Your Tucson Paradise”), a hyperlocal site that helps introduce families to Arizona activities.

Stephanie has a knack for connecting to readers through vivid stories, artistic photographs, and genuine kindness. A PR rep described her as “authentic, personable, professional,” while readers describe her writing style as “well-researched,” “thoughtful,” “non-judgmental,” “intelligent,” “uplifting,” and “lights a spark in your soul.”

Past trips have taken her to Mexico, Canada, Germany, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and all across the United States. In fact, she and her family packed up their belongings and spent a year in an RV in 2011 – traveling 20,000 miles across the USA.

Stephanie lives in sunny Tucson, Arizona with her husband and four children (born in 2006, 2009, 2012, and 2016). She has a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Counseling. Hobbies include: trail running, hiking in the mountains, reading books, entertaining on her back porch, and sending letters via snail mail.
