Come to the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, where sandy beaches stretch as far as the eye can see. Come to Florida’s most naturally attractive destination, where blue waters, radiant skies, and calm breezes evoke a timeless sense of well-being. Your barefoot stroll in the sand starts down our pathway to the ocean!

Nestled in the natural landscape of Florida, Cocoa Beach is a wonderful place to take in the natural wonders around you. Collect shells on the beach, watch for schools of dolphins or look for giant Sea Turtles dig their nest in the sand. Nesting season runs from May 1st to October and you will find a variety of turtles including, leatherbacks, loggerhead, and green sea turtles that come up on the shore to dig and lay their eggs. Tours are offered nightly through Fish & Wildlife and the Sea Turtle Preservation Society.

Cocoa Beach is also surrounded by the Intercoastal water way and the Indian River Lagoon. In the Summer (and early fall, before the cooler nights begin) the afternoon cold rainwater mixes with warm river water and causes an organism in the water to glow (bioluminescence) with every movement of the water. The lack of high rise buildings and ambient light makes Cocoa Beach and the Space Coast one of the best place in North America to experience this nature phenomenon.
