In addition, MSC Cruises is making family travel more affordable, offering Kids Sail Free for children 11 and under and providing significant discounts for kids aged 12-17.
On Board Experiences
MSC Cruises offers dedicated activities for kids of all ages – from infants to teens. A highlight for families is that kids traveling with MSC are exposed to multiple cultures and backgrounds as they play and interact with other kids from around the world.
Examples of on board activities include cooking classes, where kids are taught basic baking skills; language courses, where children learn basic sentences in 6 different languages; themed costume parades and shows; sports tournaments; scavenger hunts; arts and crafts; and teen disco and karaoke parties.
MSC Cruises is known for partnering with best in class brands and its recent partnerships with the LEGO Group and Chicco are no exception. Fleet wide, MSC has rolled out a LEGO Experience Day in which kids and their parents can compete in LEGO themed competitions and games and children who participate in the day can earn their LEGO Junior Master Builder Diploma. In addition, for MSC’s youngest guests, the line offers for free Chicco baby essentials such as bottle warmers, strollers, baby carriers and bouncy chairs. Four of the line’s ships that have recently been renovated feature LEGO and Chicco designed playrooms, which will also be included on MSC’s new ships set to debut in 2017.
As part of its global partnership with UNICEF, MSC Cruises has created a special MSC for UNICEF Day on board each sailing where children can participate in a variety of fun and educational activities that teach them about the importance of giving back and helping others. Kids who participate in the activities receive a certificate naming them as an On Board UNICEF Junior Ambassador.
