When it comes to family vacations, there’s no better place to explore than Wyoming. You may know Wyoming as the ultimate western vacation or for Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks, but Wyoming is also home to endless family experiences. In every corner of Wyoming, you can find kid-friendly dining adventures like the Bar T 5 Covered Wagon Cookout or Pitchfork Fondue, unique accommodations such as the Keyhole State Park treehouse, a yurt in Sinks Canyon or one of the many family-friendly resorts like Paradise Guest Ranch with endless things to do with kids.

Wyoming’s roads were made for cruising and there is no better place to reconnect with your family than on Wyoming’s wide open highways. With scenic byways spanning the state with epic views, Wyoming sets the perfect scene for a family road trip. When you get to your destination, you can explore our state parks, hike any of our thousands of miles of hiking trails, splash around in natural hot springs, or take the Cowboy State’s rich and diverse natural and cultural history at several historical sites and museums around the state.

Kids can become a junior ranger in Wyoming’s Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, participate in a real dinosaur dig at the Wyoming Dinosaur Center, experience America’s history by standing in the ruts of the Oregon Trail in eastern Wyoming or visit Independence Rock in central Wyoming or live like the locals at a Wyoming dude ranch.
