The ultimate goal of the Family Travel Association is to inspire more families to travel. To do so, it is important that we support people who find the process of planning trips and traveling with children too daunting or challenging.

To help SIMPLIFY the real and perceived challenges of planning family getaways, we have initiated the following programs:

  • In collaboration with New York University, conduct a major consumer research study to better understand what challenges consumers face when planning travel and traveling with children, and explore what the industry can do in response to these issues
  • Presentation of resulting research at the annual trade-only Family Travel Association Summit conference, held each fall
  • Targeted PR outreach
  • Tips to make planning and traveling with children easier on
  • Enlist our family travel experts to spread the word through their networks
