Presenter Bios

Dr. Lynn Minnaert
Academic Director, Clinical Associate Professor at the Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality at New York UniversityDr. Lynn Minnaert is the Academic Director and a Clinical Associate Professor at the Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality at New York University. Her research interests are social tourism for low-income groups, family tourism and diversity and inclusion initiatives in events. Her research has been funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, the European Union, the International Olympic Committee, regional tourist boards, and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Since 2015, she authors the annual US Family Survey in collaboration with the Family Travel Association. She is on the Editorial Board of Hotel and Tourism Management, and on the International Advisory Board for the International Journal of Contemporary Tourism Research. She is Co-President of the International Sociological Association’s RC50 special interest group on Tourism.

Peter Bopp
Board Member, Family Travel AssociationPeter Bopp serves on the Board of Directors of the Family Travel Association, and works on our strategy, marketing, consumer research and insights. He has managed our family travel research partnership with NYU’s Tisch School of Tourism and Hospitality, and is building the FTA Consumer Panel for ongoing research and feedback benefitting the industry and our member organizations.

A partner in Leadership Strategy Group, Peter specializes in coaching senior level executives in consumer-oriented businesses, with a focus on business management, marketing, advertising and brand functions. Peter enjoys working with senior leaders and their teams to develop and sharpen their leadership vision, values, impact, authenticity and personal brand.

Prior to his current role, Peter held senior business and marketing leadership roles at American Express and Kraft Foods. Peter joined American Express in their travel division, where he led the consumer travel programs for the Green Card and Small Business portfolios. He subsequently led marketing for the Small Business Services Division and was Vice President of Advertising for all U.S. American Express businesses. At Kraft Foods, Peter was senior brand manager for the Sanka and Maxwell House Decaffeinated Brand Portfolios.

Peter holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University, and a BA in International Relations from Brown University.

Bio

Bryce Albright – Executive Director, Dude Ranchers’ Association
Bryce Albright was raised between Wyoming and Montana all of her life, spending many years growing up and working on a dude ranch in a small town in Wyoming. Being raised in a family with deep dude ranching roots, she knew the dude ranch industry would have a great impact on her life. After graduating college from Montana State University Billings, it did not take long for her to find her way into the business side of the industry by going to work for the Dude Ranchers’ Association. Bryce has been with the Association for over 3 years and currently serves the role of Executive Director for the DRA. She has a great understanding and passion for the DRA’s 90+ ranches, the dude ranching industry, and travel industry as a whole.
