Kim Anwar – Founder of Magic Family Getaways

Magic Family Getaways was founded in late 2015 by Kimberly Anwar. The team consists of 20 travel advisors based in NJ, PA, OH, MO, MA and CT, with the main office located in Montclair, NJ. Magic Family Getaways primary focus is as a Disney Vacation specialist and is an authorized Disney Vacation Planner. They also book other family travel destinations around the globe.

Kim and her team pride themselves on providing a high level of customer service combined with strong product knowledge to assist their clients to create unique, unforgettable memories that last a lifetime. Each client is serviced equally with deep attention to detail to ensure that the before, during and after the vacation experience is both memorable and seamless. Kim chose to specialize in Disney Destinations because she strongly believes Disney provides a level of service and entertainment that no other destination can provide. She also feels strongly about choosing a partner that shares the same beliefs and mission as her brand and strategy.

Kim holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Drexel University in International Business. In her previous career, she spent over 16 years in the asset management industry working as a Vice President of Client Relationship Management & Sales for BNP Paribas. She has extensive experience in marketing, sales and client service which she feels strongly contributes to the growth and success of Magic Family Getaways.

In addition, Kim has very robust Disney knowledge and product experience. She has vacationed with her family at all of Disney’s destinations Aulani, Disneyland, adventured with AbD and is a gold Castaway Club member with Disney Cruise Line. Magic Family Getaways is a member of the Family Travel Association and ASTA.

Kim has been married for 22 years, has three boys ages 18, 13 & 9 and enjoys skiing, tennis and yoga. She is fluent in Spanish, and has basic French and Indonesian speaking skills.

About Your Host

Thanks to the generosity of his grandmother, Aaron Schlein traveled to four continents and a dozen countries before he was old enough to vote. Those early trips convinced him that travel is an essential part of life.

More than two decades later, Aaron remains inspired by his grandmother’s generosity. He is committed to honoring her legacy by sharing the gift of travel with his own kids—and by helping other parents do the same.

Aaron is the host of Family Travel Radio—a weekly podcast presented by The Family Travel Association.

Aaron also helps new entrepreneurs use their personal stories to build a network, expand influence, and strengthen relationships.
