OUR GUEST

Lauren Goldenberg – Founder of The Family Traveler

Lauren, with two decades of travel selling experience, started The Family Traveler in 2000 after several years traveling the globe working in communications and event management on the men’s tennis tour.  Her love for exploration and world culture changed course after the birth of her daughter, Anna, which lead Lauren to the family travel arena. Lauren made it her mission to raise a global citizen.

Lauren has lived abroad in Israel, traveled extensively for work and pleasure, and is the charter travel agent member of the Family Travel Association.  Her agency is co-owned by her sister, Mindy—truly all in the family!  Lauren’s current travels also revolve around competing as a master olympic weightlifter!

Anna Levin – Lauren’s Daughter and Rotary Youth Exchange Student

Anna spent her sophomore year of high school in Tallinn, Estonia as part of the Rotary Youth Exchange.  Now 22, Anna recently graduated with a degree in Linguistics from the University of Florida. She also studied at Moscow University, interned and volunteered in Israel at a youth hostel and theater and currently works as a teacher at a bilingual school in Prague.
